A lot of my work has been in the field of Forensics.
3D models are rapidly becoming more and more accepted in courts of law around the world. 3D graphics is a great way of presenting often complex evidence, scenes, concepts of physics etc to Juries.

For creating large Environments, I have typically used long range  3D laser scanners.
3D realtime models for simulators, walkthroughs and web content.
3D is also great for producing training material.
Ive been lucky enough to works on lots of varied projects from Mining, to Eye Surgery, to flying Paragliders.
I worked for ABP in Sydney, producing graphics for "Good Medicine" and also showing surgery techniques for Veterinary students.
Flexiglass in Western Australia .
I helped them set up their "Rapid Prototyping"
3D facility for producing their fibreglass canopies.
