Hi Mike,
I like your instructional videos.
I added a link to your ULF page for my site in this section:
http://www.expandingknowledge.com/Jerome/PG/Main.htm#Handbook
It would be cool if you would add a reverse link to this monster project I
have:
Tips for Paraglider Pilots
http://www.expandingknowledge.com/Jerome/PG/Tip/English.htm
from under your "Links" section:
http://www.mikeannear.com/PG_Links.html
I have invested a ridiculous amount of time in it.
Soft landings Mike,

Hey Mike--

Your Ultra Low Flying Video has been getting some play on local computers
here in the Bay Area of San Francisco, after a pilot posted the link to a
local PG list.
Great stuff! And what a project--must have taken you years to do! It works
as a good general PG intro video, actually, as well as a great dune soaring
primer.
We do a bit of low soaring down by Monterey (Sand City/Marina)--the ridge
goes for 6 miles and ranges from 0 to about 150 feet, max. I'm attaching a
photo of the ridge--you'll have to come over here and fly sometime!
Thanks,
Vicki

Hi there Mike,
Great videos! Really well explained and illustrated, a great teaching aid.
Two questions:
How much is your ULF video? and would you (or whoever did the graphics) be
able to quote a price for similar graphics for a video I am in the process
of editing?

Brilliant, Mike! I went to Perth last year (without my wing), and got to visit some of your coastal hangsites, both north and south towards and past Margaret River. Ooh, you can soar forever down there. As Pal Hammar Rognoy says, his old club (Where I am president)will definately make use of this material if permitted. The 3D work is awsome.

 Fantastic!
I just viewed your work. Firstly, thanks for putting that piece together, I enjoyed it. Secondly, this should be something that every new pilot should watch. The use of your animations are very explicit in educating a new pilot when it comes to lift band, rotor... These visuals take the place of lengthly discussion with students who in the end may not fully understand these theories without seeing it.

Bravo!

A masterpiece.
If something, I miss a bit more real life flying, but it was very very very nice. I will use this when I have courses. M old home club have some beautiful low coastal soaring. This video may help some of the beginners to understand these sites better.

Mike Annear, from Western Australia has put together an excellent 20 minute instructional video to demonstrate the techniques for flying low sand dune or ridge sites.
There are some great animations of wind flow, rotor, and turbulence, as well as demonstrations and discussions of techniques and dangers.
The video is in 4 parts for easy download.
It's a very well done introduction to coastal flying.

G'day Mike,
I just noticed the "Dune Flying" thread on BigAir Paragliding, this reminded
me to download your ULF video from your web page.
Great work, it is an excellent instructional video for anyone who wants to
fly the dunes or small ridges. Very enjoyable to watch.
You certainly get around; hope you are having a great time working and
flying in Qatar.

Best regards,
Peter
